Boisclair......What more to say

First and foremost, i don't usually like bringing up politics, because its one of those discussions that nobody can agree, and everyone usually gets upset with everyone else. But I am making an exception today. This goes beyond the realm of politics, and into the territory of common sense.

OK, I'm not a "Partie Quebecois" fans to begin with ( but that is another topic for discussion ) but how can a political party continue to support a moron like Andre Boisclair. The most recent of his indiscretions ( if i can use the word ) happened yesterday while giving a speech at a Trois-Rivieres university. Links ( English, French ). Where he called students of Asian decent "yeux bridés" the French translation of "slanted eyes".

After making such a derogatory comment, not only did he not realize it was offensive, he refused to apologize for saying it, saying he didn't think it was insulting. Where did they find this clown. It's one thing to not realize the word insulted some people, but if it did, you could at least apologize for it, saying that you did not intention to insult anyone, and apologize to those it hurt.

Can this really be the best person the PQ could find to lead their party to victory. If so it makes me wonder how bad the rest of them have to be, if this is the most "politically correct" one of them all.

not enough about politics. Who else thinks the Canadians have to start taking some serious actions if they hope to not become the laughing stock of the NHL this year. Second best in the first half of the season to second worst....
